Biography.

After lived through violence, having survived a three week coma and fought her way through eating disorder, Tjaša became the symbol of a whole generation in Slovenia. A generation that understands that no matter what you have experienced, you can fight your way out of the darkness, towards a happy future. With her participation and victory at Slovenija Ima Talent Tjaša broke several taboos and lead by example. She expressed her story in the art of dance and acrobatics, and by doing that, she gave a platform to thousands and thousands of people who can relate with her story. Proof of this are the countless messages of young girls, boys, adults and older people she keeps getting until today.

Tjaša started training in 2012. This is not just a series of elements for her, this is a pure form of expression.

After years of intensive training she specialised in pole, flypole, aerial spiral and flow motion.

Tjaša Dobravec (29/11/1994) is a Slovenian professional cirus artist specialised in aerial spiral, poledance pole, Chinese pole, aerial pole, movement and dance. In 2018 she won Slovenia’s got Talent with acts on poledance pole, flypole and aerial spiral. Tjaša Dobravec was selected to perform on the prestigious Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris in 2020. This circus competition is known in the whole world as ‘the Olympic Games of modern Circus Art’. She won two awards for Slovenia on this world famous circus competition. With her contemporary act on aerial spiral she conquered the hearts of the national circus school of China and also won the award given by the circus school of Bretagne (France). In 2022 she became the first Slovenian artist in history to be chosen as main character in a Cirque du Soleil show. Tjaša Dobravec was part of the Cirque du Soleil show called MŪV in Andorra La Vella. In the circus world she is well known for her strong expression, versatility and professionalism.
